Who We Are?
Our MissioN
The mission of The Sunday Weigh-In is simple: to document one year of weight-loss efforts honestly and without pressure.
This site exists as a weekly check-in—a place to record progress, setbacks, lessons learned, and habits being built over time. There are no programs here, no guarantees, and no promises of quick results. Just one person showing up consistently, writing things down, and learning along the way.
If others find something useful or relatable here, that’s a bonus. But first and foremost, this is about accountability, reflection, and staying engaged with the process.
Extraordinary Experiences
Weight loss rarely comes from extraordinary moments. More often, it’s shaped by ordinary weeks—what gets eaten, what gets skipped, what habits hold, and which ones fall apart.
The experiences shared here aren’t dramatic transformations or overnight successes. They’re real-world moments: stepping on the scale, adjusting routines, trying again after a setback, and finding small wins where they show up.
Over time, those ordinary weeks add up. This site is about capturing them as they happen, one Sunday at a time.
Our Core Values
Honesty
The numbers are real. The frustrations are real. The progress—when it comes—is real.
Consistency Over Perfection
Showing up matters more than getting everything right.
Progress Without Pressure
There’s no rush here. Sustainable change happens at its own pace.
Reflection
Writing things down creates awareness, and awareness creates opportunity for change.
Simplicity
No extremes. No complicated systems. Just steady effort and clear thinking.
